Monument en Bed Bonck
Imagine yourself in this apartment in the 17th century with its historic layout and finish. From the living room you have a view over the harbor. The bedroom, with old cast iron stove, overlooks the beautiful large garden at the rear. The interior is an interplay of antique and modern furniture. The location is of course fully equipped and equipped with wifi, TV, audio equipment, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine (Nespresso) and a bathroom with shower.
The monument with a view
The house on the Binnenluiendijk lies on a headland between the historic harbors of Hoorn and was built in 1624. What is special is that large parts of the 17th-century layout and interior finish have been preserved: a rarity in the Netherlands. Like many houses in Hoorn, only the nearly five meters high ground floor was intended for habitation. The other floors were used for the storage of merchandise.
Trips in the area
In this glorious fishing and trading town you can still taste the past of the powerful United East India Company. Certainly at the port it seems as if time has stood still. Hoorn has no less than five museums, many cozy terraces and of course the Markermeer offers plenty of (sporting) possibilities.
