Museum- en beeldentuin Nic Jonk
In 1965, the artist Nic Jonk, together with his wife Greet Jonk-Commandeur, started a museum and sculpture garden in the village of Grootschermer in the North Holland. Now it has become a unique art event. In addition to the sculptures, paintings, graphics, ceramics, glass and Perspex objects by Nic Jonk, the museum also features paintings and screen prints by Marc Jonk and poetry collections by Greet Jonk-Commandeur. A collection of antiquities excavated from the sculpture garden by Greet Jonk and excavations of Kees Box from Schermereiland.
